In the planning stages

We've decided, the first trip we're taking in retirement, is driving the Mother road, route 66. Out of character, we plan on taking our time, and stopping at the nostalgic, out of the way places. Eat a lot of Diner food, and visualize life back in the 1950's. We'll let you know how it goes.
